The breakfast was outstanding as the selection was fresh and had a Spanish flare. The cappuccinos were the best we’ve tasted! The staff are friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed the lounge and outside patio. The location to our venue and to the train station was only a 10 minute walk. On the way home from our venue stopping by all the shops and stores was wonderful. It did not feel like a hotel- more like a comfortable flat.

Excellent location, easy to walk to castle, Principality stadium, pubs, restaurants. Great to have parking included. Nice touches like chocolate snacks, cold water in frig, etc.

It's a very clean and nice property not far from Cardiff City Centre. We booked two rooms for our family and both the rooms were very nice, spacious enough to accommodate all of us. Clean toilets, comfy rooms, and quite happy with our stay. It was nice of the owner of the property Andrew to come over and greet us when we were checking out...

The Moorwell was perfect for our needs - 3 friends in town for a concert in Cardiff! Spacious, comfortable, modern, and clean apartment within a 5-10 minute walk to the charming and convenient shops of Penarth or the Dingle Road train station. We fell in love with the town of Penarth, and it was so easy to catch a train or ride share into the city or to go site-seeing at a nearby castle. Great kitchen and living space, enormous flat screen TV in living room, nice ensuite bath for the main bedroom. Big windows with a nice view. The trains ran right under our window but they didn't bother us at all. The offsite host was extremely helpful with providing key codes and instructions. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

There are only 3 rooms in the building we stayed in, it was nice and quiet. There was a large wardrobe and the toiletries and towels in the bathroom were nicely presented, they had also provided a couple of boxes of tissues. We were pleasantly surprised to discover a small fridge with some drinking water in it and some fresh milk for the tea and coffee (the owner told us later that he supplies fresh milk because he dislikes UHT milk in his own tea and coffee). We stayed for 3 nights and had a superb breakfast each morning. I'm pleased I took their advice and booked an evening meal in advance, the restaurant is very popular. Our meal was so tasty that we booked for the following evening too, that meal was also extremely good. The staff were very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. When I was originally booking the room I was concerned about the check-in time because we were going to a gig in Cardiff on the first night and wouldn't get to the hotel until well after the check-in time. However when I mentioned my problem they replied swiftly and arranged a self check-in which went very smoothly. Parking was nice and close to the entrance to the accommodation. We will definitely be booking again next year when we're back in Cardiff.

Beautiful home located by a golf course. Our rooms consisted of a large bedroom upstairs and a kitchenette downstairs. Throughout, everything was immaculate. The property is within walking distance of several eating establishments and about four miles from Cardiff city centre. It’s a short walk to the train station. By chance, we happened to be in Cardiff when King Charles paid a visit so the city was alive and vibrant.
