Room was in a historical building and was very nice. Was thorougly cleaned every day, was spotless. Really enjoyed our stay.

We travelled to Derbyshire to visit chatworth house and booked at the hotel very last minute. We was very impressed with how we were welcomed on our arrival by very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and we were provided with a free bottle of beer and Prosecco which was a nice surprise. We also didn’t expect to receive a free packed lunch to take with us even though we only stayed for one night.

Sladen Lodge is a wonderful property, and Lynne was a fantastic host. It’s located close to the center of Hathersage, and there’s a ton to do in the area. Lynne was very accommodating when I arrived early, and she has great restaurant recommendations. The room was clean and comfortable, and the lodge itself was tranquil and peaceful.

Set in the beautiful Dovedale Valley, The Izaak Walton is a 17th-century hotel with spectacular views across the Derbyshire countryside, known for its fishing streams, a log fireplace in the front... We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Izaak Walton Hotel in the Peak District. The hotel is in a lovely gracious old building and the reception staff were welcoming. We were assisted to carry our bags up the stairs to our room which we appreciated. Our accommodation was wonderfully spacious with a generous ensuite, and there were good outdoor seating areas for guests. The views from our room of the peaks were most inspiring. Breakfast was excellent and staff again very helpful. An ideal location close to the Dovedale National Park. Thankyou.
