Château de Monrecour ligger i regionen Périgord Noir, i hjärtat av Dordogne-dalen. Här finns 2 uppvärmda pooler, en stor terrass i söderläge och en gourmetrestaurang. The staff at this charming hotel were incredibly welcoming, and the location is stunning! From the moment you arrive, you are immersed in a sense of relaxation and beauty. Our room was situated not in the main building (the castle) but in a lovely annex. It was quiet at night, which is very important to me. The room was spacious and cozy, with tea, coffee, and water available for free. We dined at the restaurant inside the Domaine; the food was good, though in my humble opinion, not exceptional. However, we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance. The beautiful breakfast room, located inside the castle, offered a great variety of choices. The garden and the view are stunning, with swimming pools located in various spots. Having visited many hotels in Dordogne during my stay, Château de Monrecour was definitely my favorite. I hope to have the chance to go back soon.

Le Château Olive et Raisin ligger i Fontaine-de-Vaucluse och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och platt-tv samt en terrass. Beautifully appointed modern apartment, spacious and comfortable. Wonderful views onto the river and terraces. Autonomous entry was east. Restaurant downstairs was high standard with charming staff, we ate there three nights. Highly recommended.

La Masia Del Taulat Chambres d´Hôtes ligger i Llo och erbjuder boende med utsikt över bergen samt en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass, en restaurang och en bar. Otroligt trivsamt och trevligt boende i Llo. Värden Tony gjorde verkligen allt för att vi skulle trivas och vår hund var välkommen överallt. Lugn och fridfull plats men fin utsikt från middagsbordet både dagtid som kvällstid. Vi återkommer mer än gärna.

Château d'Arance ligger i Cette-Eygun och erbjuder en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass och en restaurang. Detta hotell med 3 stjärnor har en bar samt luftkonditionerade rum med eget badrum. One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in due to its surroundings and it being a Château. The big surprise was dinner! Maite is the most amazing chef. We didn’t miss one dinner! Fabulous hosts.

Château Fleur D'Aya ligger i Artigues-près-Bordeaux och erbjuder boende med utsikt över trädgården samt en säsongsöppen utomhuspool, en trädgård, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. We absolutely LOVED staying at Chteau Fleur D'Aya! We were immediately made to fee super welcome and in fact on our first night we chose to sit and eat our dinner (bought from a local supermarket) with Henri and loved listening to his stories about the amazing restoration he implemented at the Chateaux. The Chateaux is a fabulous mix of historical beauty and modern interior design - it has been renovated in a stunningly sensitive and clever way and we loved staying somewhere so different! The beds were super comfortable and the shower and bath etc were wonderful. We actually did not find the time to get a swim in as we at two Rugby World Cup matches to attend but it looked wonderful and the hosts were super relaxed about us using it at any time. We are hoping to make a return sometime in the future when we have more time to enjoy the Chateau and Bordeaux and it's surroundings.

Everything - it was about as picturesque as it gets, and we were only sorry not to be able to stay longer, I would come back to Provence just to stay here!
