Accoglienza calorosissima e attenzione a tutte le necessità. Camera pulita e confortevole. Colazione eccellente con succhi e marmellate (di tantissimi gusti) fatte in casa.

What an Amazing property! We had no idea that it was part of an estate with a 17th century chateau (presently being restored). The beautiful gardens have been restored and guests are free to visit the grounds. The farmer’s house where we stayed has been beautifully restored with elegantly comfortable rooms. The included breakfast was bountiful and delicious! We were warmly welcomed and we truly enjoyed our stay!

There is this Very Gentleman, Jean -Rene’-the owner of the Castle, in this Very Special place… not only you step back into history- the Castle was built in 1767; not only you delight with pure design- it was projected by the architect Guillaume Martin Couture, inscribed in the “monuments historiques” since 2008…. Moreover, you have the chance to embrace every single ancient white stone in your bathroom; bow to the original cotto and wooden stairs, walk in the accurately projected park where geese and hares stroll about. And, in my opinion worthest of all, listen to this marvellous man, Jean Rene’. Appreciate his effort to preserve a remarkable style of life and culture, in spite of everyday will to buy everything… but some values are costless and cannot be bought. Take your time to appreciate the beauty of the place- pictures tell it themselves- but above all, enjoy the talks with the owner and reflect upon nowadays challenge in life.

We loved everything. Thomas was a super host. The location is great, the facilities were confortable and beautiful, the breakfast delicious and fresh. Pleasent garden, great for family gatherings. We certainly recommend and will plan to come back soon.

The breakfast was excellent, and the location was perfect for seeing the Normandy region. We enjoyed the Manoir's cozy living room which was decorated with a beautiful Christmas tree and a warm fireplace to gather with family.

Situato a Damblainville, Château du Mesnil Soleil, gites et chambres. Il d'hôtes offre sistemazioni con TV. Al mattino vi attende una colazione continentale. Soggiorno incantevole. La struttura è stata recentemente ristrutturata con un mix perfetto tra antico e moderno. Tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli dal parco alle parti comuni fino alla camera (la nostra molto ampia, confortevole e pulitissima). La colazione viene servita in una stanza comune ma con tavoli separati (per noi un plus), prodotti buoni (soprattutto yogurt e marmellate fatte in casa), degno di nota anche il caffè. Marc e la moglie sono persone squisite, disponibili a soddisfare qualsiasi nostra richiesta e ad offrire preziosi consigli sui luoghi da visitare (compresi i ristoranti che ci hanno gentilmente prenotato). È stato un piacere alloggiare da Marc e conversare con lui davanti ad un bicchiere di Pommeau. Se dovessimo ricapitare in zona sappiamo dove andare!
