Situated 19.1 km from Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, Hostel & Rooms Casa Maia features accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a shared kitchen for your convenience. One of the hidden gems in our Camino stay! Very comfortable and large bedroom with a spotless clean room and bathroom. Our room had access to the patio where you can relax. Belén and Manolo are great hosts and provided suggestions about what to do in Padrón that I am not sure others would so clearly recommend, like getting your Pedronía certificate, which local monuments are worth visiting (small town with many things to see) and the local restaurants for your budget. This was a top stay during the Camino and provided a nice break before our journey into Santiago. Thank you.

A beautiful place to stay in the countryside on Camino del Norte, we broke up the stage and walked from Baamonde to O Campo da Vila - had a great tortilla for lunch and a vino tinto and then called a taxi which took us back to Habitaciones la Cuevona where we were so warmly welcomed by Pablo. We had a fabulous dinner that night, slept in very comfortable bed and had an excellent breakfast before jumping back in a taxi to O Campo da Vilar to start our walk for the day to Sobrado de Monxes. Angel was our taxi driver and gave us a wonderful guided tour on our way.
