For starters, please note that this is not a 5* hotel with all the trimmings but a guesthouse, so the rating is based on price paid and services on offer.. If you want a simple comfortable bed/soft shower, easy access to town and with a full breakfast prepared in minutes (yes, they only serve after 800/815am) then this is the place for you. Breakfast was varied, both full English and continental. Lots to choose from and pastries were yummy. Not too far from Gorey harbour and the castle, beautiful. A short 5 mins walk to the nearest bus stop where you can hop on a bus either way, they run every 10mins. Best to get a bus pass from bus station in St helier. They come in 1,2,3 or 7 day passes, (unlimited travel). Jersey reminds me of England 30 years ago, tranquil,everyone is really friendly. Food is great and pace of life is more relaxed. Definitely coming back for another visit.
