On the southern slopes of the Mendip Hills, overlooking the picturesque hamlet of Loxton, the B/W The Webbington Hotel and Spa offers free WiFi and leisure facilities, including a heated indoor swimming pool. Stayed here to catch an early morning flight from Bristol. Lovely location for woodland walks, a game of tennis, a swim, spa, decent food and coming back to an old English style comfy room.

Location, location, location! Great setting. The hotel is also much more inviting and homely than the standard sleek offerings from major chains. I felt right at home.

We particularly love old coaching inns in the centre of towns, and this one doesn't disappoint. Partially made over (sympathetically with a modern twist) there are parts that still need a little TLC, but overall it is lovely, and has that sense of history. It is currently in the process of being taken over from "Best Western" by the "Coaching Inns" group. I hope they look after it properly. We intend going back next year.
A classic best western, a bit run down but clean and comfortable and suited my needs. Only a short walk into town
We stayed at the Best Western after a cycle ride across England. Our time of arrival was all over the place to figure out when we would arrive the Staff were so accommodating, the offered to keep our dinner for us until 11. We ended up getting in late and they made us sandwiches. Nothing was too much for them to arrange! Staff exceptionally friendly. Property in beautiful location
