This Victorian building is around 15 minutes’ walk from York city centre and York Train Station. It has free WiFi, a free guest computer, and its own indoor swimming pool. Staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Room was ready early, clean, spacious and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent value. Walking distance to York city centre. Parking at the rear of the hotel. Nice cosy bar too!

Consisting of 3 Grade II listed Georgian buildings, and 2 coach houses, the hotel is situated in a pretty tree lined conservation area only a short stroll from the city centre. Breakfast was excellent! My husband had a quick toast & coffee, but I had continental, with a freshly -cooked croissant each morning. Yum! The staff were always helpful, going out of their way to please.

The Glendower Hotel is a beautiful Victorian building with a fine seafront position at Lytham, 4.8 km from Blackpool. One of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. The food was very good all round, but especially the breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Spacious room and bathroom, clean and neat. Beautiful building and calm, relaxing setting. Very good breakfast and very friendly staff

Located just a 10-minute drive from the Eden Project, this modern hotel in Lostwithiel offers free Wi-Fi, an outdoor heated pool, free parking, and an on-site restaurant. Good clean and comfortable accommodation with lovely pool. Breakfast and evening meals were tasty with good choice and reasonable value for money. Excellent access to town and surrounding countryside, and within a cars journey to the Cornish coast.
