Spacious rooms. Clean and comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. I would stay there again! :)

It had a tropical rustic feel to it. It is a home stay model, so there is a few villas on one property. The food was home cooked food rather than “restaurant” food which I really enjoyed. The property is literally on the river bank so has an excellent location. There is an option for a 3 hour boat ride from the property or kayaking, they can also arrange airport pick up and drop off.

La Lune Fort Kochi is situated in the Fort Kochi district of Cochin, and is 200 metres from Kochi Biennale. La Luna is situated in a quite street, but only a very short walk away from the main tourist area on Fort Kotchi. It is well maintained, comfortable and clean, breakfast each morning on the roof terrace was delightful. But, what makes this place is Joseph: charming, helpful, always happy to stop and chat. He leaves you with the feeling that he is genuinely interested in you and loves running his establishment.

He organised a fantastic punting trip to the Munroes (and Rajesh the auto rickshaw driver made the journey there just as much fun). Prabhath Joseph also took us to the local temple festival which was unforgettable. And when we had to leave he helped us find the right bus/rickshaw etc.
