The room was perfectly clean. The breakfast was good and was served with a fantastic homemade sourdough bread baked by Rowena. They served a vegetarian option of the Scottish breakfast for us. I will definitely come back:)

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Straven Guesthouse provides accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi. It was an amazing experience to stay at Straven Guesthouse. I felt at home, the bed was very comfortable and the room was beautiful and warm. Breakfast was a whole variety of delicious dishes, home made and beautiful. The sea front is only a few steps away and I enjoyed walking along the sea promenade to the cafés - and walking along the sea shore. I felt looked after and cared for by Sinead and Chris. Good breakfast brought to the room and a nice quiet location close to bus into city center and just a short walk to the Botanical Gardens
