Excellent service from the very friendly staff from the minute I arrived until it was time to go, My room was clean and quiet all round as was the whole hotel and the area, food very good indeed, good choice at from the dinner menu, just sad I wasn't there long enough to try everything! Breakfast was very good too.

I liked how closed to south end main part is by car and I also liked that you can see the sea from the outside of the hotel

Lovely comfortable room. Good size, warm. Fridge in all rooms and a restaurant next door. Owner very accommodating.

Great location a few steps away from the beach. Bus stop into town just around the corner. Close to several places to eat and drink. Lovely clean room - spotless - and tea coffee and milk left in the room too along with the necessary bathroom bits. The host Zara was very helpful and had left nothing to chance. Would happily stay here again - recommended.

The place was very clean the host was very accommodating had a great breakfast every morning room cleaned every day probably the best b&b I've stayed in I've stayed at a few over the years I would highly recommend to any one wanting to stay in Southend already booked another room with them for September looking forward to staying there again
