The staff is super friendly and they even organise extra activities for their guests (unfortunately we woke up late and didn't manage to join the special free coffee at a local cafe). The hotel is very close to the metro station in Tokyo Ueno and Ueno park (highly recommended - really beautiful, with lots of temples and it wasn't busy at all when we went). There's also a cute Izakaya with very nice food two steps from the hotel. Overall, we really liked to be in Ueno rather than other (busier) places in Tokyo.

The owners were very responsive at all times and getting the key was easy with the detailed instructions. We stayed for two weeks and it was perfect for that. Loved it and would stay again! Location was very convenient although the main street down the block was very busy to navigate at peak hour. The accomodation was very quiet though since it's 2 blocks off to the side.
