The staff and the manager were the best. They were very helpful with us, they gave us correct and reliable information all the time. They were super nice, helped us with everything we needed. And the breakfast is one of the best! because they are very flexible to each person, they adapt to what each one wants. The location is very good, very close to everything and quiet, which is important on the island. Thank you Jorge and all the staff, you were the best!

Nothing. Everything was great!

The location was very good (very close to the center, but still quiet). The facilities were great: rooms were cleaned every day, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was modern and had good water pressure. The staff was super kind, giving us a briefing of the island and helping us with all the activities we wanted to do. We also enjoyed some ends of day in the swimming pool. Would definitely come back!!

WiFi was spotty.

We loved our stay at Villa Rika. It was nice and quiet tucked away from the party scene, but still minutes from the beach. Jorge was very welcoming and gave great recs. Eng was amazing, so helpful with figuring out anything you needed- transportation, itinerary, everything! We also really enjoyed our conversations with him. We recommend Villa Rika!

Stayed here for the second time, with our toddler son; it's clean, roomy, family friendly, at a good location and you feel at home immediately! Very friendly and helpful staff! The location is close to the beach, off the 'main' road, so a bit more quiet and with more privacy which is perfect for a family holiday! If all goes well, we'll be back here again next year!

Such a fantastic stay at this lovely villa! George, our host, was superb, and the staff were incredibly friendly and supportive. We rented three units and each one was cozy and comfortable. Our time here was truly enjoyable, and we're eager to return. I highly recommend this gem of a hotel to everyone. Thanks to George and the team for a wonderful experience!

Very close to beach and turtle observation. Hospitable owner, offering tips and suggestions whilst on the island. Private salt water pool was a delight to go into at night. Very clean. Enjoyable private part- outside bathroom, attached to bedroom. Nicely done.

We stayed 4 nights at Villa Rika and it was amazing. We were warmly welcomed by the owners and felt immediately at home. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The owners gave us many recommendations about what to do around the island, which is always great and helpful. The location is nice too, because the turtle point is very close by. Another advantage is that the noise of the mosques are not that loud here. You can hear them, but that is everywhere on Gili T. It did not bother us at all. We would definitely recommend staying here! Thank you for the great time!

We stayed at Vila Rika for 3 days (not more, unfortunately!!!!). Everything was amazing, starting with the sympathy of the couple Jorge and Sara. Always open to help, super friendly, creating an amazing atmosphere around. I went with a friend and I wanted to do a surprise to her as it was her birthday. Jorge was increadibly nice in buying a traditional Portuguese birthday cake and we sang all together the birthday song and drink a beer. The location is simply perfect, you are in the centre just walking between 5-10mins, not noisy at all (if you stay in the center center, you might have noise coming from restaurants and bars). As we have just a few days in there we didn’t use the swimming pool but we could see it was being clean everyday. Seems pretty nice if you can use it. Overall our experience was 💯 positive and we would definitely come back. Thanks to Jorge and Sara again for being such great hosts!!!

The owners were very friendly and chatty and made our stay very homely. The rooms and very nice with good AC. The breakfast is simple but was very quick and kept us going. It is in a great location - close enough to the main area but not right in it. The owner gave us excellent recommendations for our stay. We really enjoyed our time here.

We had a great time at Villa Rika and can highly recommend to stay there. It is a lovely designed, clean and comfy place with a very welcoming atmosphere. The hosts are very attentive, showed great hospitality and gave us helpful tips regarding e.g. ferry transport, restaurants, etc. All in all, this made us feel a little bit at home at Gili T for a week of holiday. Thank you very much! The place was very clean, the bed and pillow were comfortable, the room spacious. Villa Rika is nearby the main beach front of Gili T with a lot of shops, restaurants and bars, but nonetheless quiet as it is not located in the middle of the night life of Gili T. We enjoyed that location a lot as we were close enough to everything, but far enough away to have a calm and quiet place to stay. The beach nearby Villa Rika is great for snorkeling and you have a high chance to see turtles. The breakfast was simple, but good and provided a smooth start of the day. After all, cannot name anything negative and can only highly recommend this location. We would definitely book it again!

The road to get there is broken so it’s hard to get there with a suitcase - be prepared with a bag that you can hold (better for the island anyway)

First of all, this is not my first time travelling to Gili. The common issue in the island is hot water and cleanliness of the accommodation. Also, if you are travelling to Gili for the first time, it can be overwhelming with the amount of travelling and planning. With that being said, the villa is about 15 to 20 mins walk from the harbour, depends on how fast you walk. So if you have many suitcases or travelling with big suitcase, please manage your expectations. You can find it from the map, which makes it so much easier. When you arrive at the villa, we were greeted with a very warm welcome from the owner himself, Jeorge, and Sara. They serve us cold water to wash down the overwhelming experience from the boat and heat from walking. All the tiredness gone away the moment we sat down. Check in experience was nothing less than perfect. He explained the island and gave us many recommendations, which were all amazing. He also let us know the fair prices of the activities in the island so you wont be overcharged by the organisers. I strongly recommend to follow his recommendations unless you have things planned yourself. The room was comfortable. There were 3 of us, w booked 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. Room is spacious for all our items. Very safe surroundings but of course always becareful. The location itself was in front of the turtle swimming spot. Plenty of places offers bicycle and snorkling trips. If you walk for 3 minutes from the villa towards the beach, on your right hand side you will find a small dodgy looking booth. We book private snorkeling from them, expected nothing. But we ended up had the best experience we can ever asked for. My friend doesnt know how to swim, was looked after her very well throughout the snorkeling experience. No negotiation needed, they offer very fair rate. Dont judge a book by its cover. Overall, I honestly think our stay was that much better because of Jeorge and Sara. Thanks for looking after me and my friends!
