Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomIt's only 5 pound but it didn't state anywhere we had to pay for parking on here or the website but we move on staff didn't seem to care ( I don't blame em but it's their job to show a little service lol) don't expect much from here
It did its job for us just a 1 night stay after a concert at the University music hall which was right round the corner then in the morning a trip to football stadium for a 3 minute walk. I recommend here if you ain't bothered about noisy streets, uncaring staff and broken rooms and just want a stop off rest point For a concert or football

United KingdomCostumer service on the desk
The lady on the reception desk was very rude and never seen a rude person like her. She is representing the hotel with that attitude she was nearly fighting with each question I was asking I was like I have to leave this place right now. People pay money they expecting receptions to help them very poor. The rest was fine.

United Kingdom"While my stay at Redwings Lodge in Wolverhampton was overall pleasant, there were some aspects that fell short of expectations. Despite the warm welcome from the staff, I encountered challenges with the accessibility room. Unfortunately, it was located quite far from the entrance, making it inconvenient for guests with mobility issues. Additionally, the doorways were difficult to open, and the limited space around the bed made it challenging to navigate into the bathroom.Speaking of the bathroom, it was not well-equipped for accessibility needs. The layout was cramped, and there wasn't enough room to maneuver comfortably, especially for wheelchair users. Furthermore, the shower head was in dire need of replacement, as it did not provide adequate water pressure or coverage.Despite these issues, the central location of Redwings Lodge in Wolverhampton was a definite plus, allowing easy access to attractions like The Halls and other city highlights. However, improvements in room accessibility and bathroom facilities are necessary to ensure a more comfortable stay for all guests."
"My stay at Redwings Lodge in Wolverhampton was simply outstanding. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the staff. Their genuine hospitality and attentiveness truly made my stay memorable.Nestled in the heart of Wolverhampton, Redwings Lodge offers unbeatable convenience. With attractions like The Halls just a short distance away, exploring the city was effortless. Whether I was immersing myself in the rich history and cultural heritage of The Halls or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll through the city streets, the hotel's central location made it easy to experience everything Wolverhampton has to offer.Overall, Redwings Lodge surpassed all my expectations. With its exceptional staff and prime location, it's no surprise that I'll be returning for future visits to Wolverhampton. I highly recommend it to any traveler looking for comfort, convenience, and a memorable stay."

United KingdomThe bed was so uncomfortable, the mattress had a big dip in the middle. There was one thin pillow each, I went to ask for more pillows as I couldn't sleep but there were none available. The noise of the busy road outside kept us awake. The drains were blocked so there was a bad smell coming from the sink.
Good location for the concert we went to in the university halls.

United KingdomUnfortunately we were caught with one of hottest days of the year (so far) which revealed that our bedroom did not have air conditioning devices. It would be good to have a simple fan provided.
Very conveniently located very close to the city centre as we attended the Deaffest which were held in university premises and the Halls situated within so easy walking distance from Redwings Lodge.

United KingdomOnly thing that let down the whole stay was the mattress. Stayed in a double bed. You could feel the springs coming through the mattress and not comfortable at all. For the price of the room it was not raised as it was late coming back to the room.
