The house structure is interesting (in a good way) We got all the amenities like in the hotels. Everything is clean. We had our first experience on Tatami flooring & how to lay a futon. Unlike other self check-in home stay, Kazuki-san is very friendly that he greeted us himself and we had a small chat which I feel warmly welcomed.

Very clean and comfortable. Hostel master is very nice and friendly. The location is in living area which is very quiet. Around 10-15 mins walking distance from metro station which is not too far with big luggage.

The owner, Satoshi, is a lovely person! He was very helpful and knowledgeable for someone who has never travelled to Japan (or anywhere out of Australia for that matter!) made my first overseas hostel a great experience. His English is great too! The other guests were also kind and easy to spend time with in the communal area, I think this place attracts nice people haha

Hisayo-san! She’s the perfect host. Super friendly and kind and was very patient with all my questions. She kept everyone involved so that we could all help each other out. The couple which run this place are absolutely beautiful people. We were lucky to be the only guests staying for the night and the owner went out of his way to pick us up and drop us off at the station. We felt well accommodated the entire time. The western breakfast they serve is incredible. Our only regret was staying here for just a single night.

I had a nice stay at Sato-san’s rest. It’s a beautiful little property that still feels quite traditional. It’s located a short ride form everything on the metro system. Unfortunately I was very unwell when I arrived and the owners did a really nice job of making sure I was okay and helped me to find a doctor. They really made me feel welcome
