This stay was one of our favourites of our entire trip. The host was so generous and kind. Upon hearing of my partner's leg injury, she surprised us with a special tea to help promote healing. We loved the space and the attention to detail was fantastic. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. The host customized the breakfast based on a couple conversations we had. Everything was delicious, and we were even given a detailed list, in English, of everything she prepared for us. The breakfasts at this stay were a highlight of our entire trip to Japan. We will definitely try to stay here again when we're back in Kyoto!

A very modern, comfortable, and clean stay and Toni and his wife are great hosts. The guesthouse is recently renovated and the small details are very appreciated. There is a breakfast available in the mornings which is delicious, and the guesthouse is easily accessible from Kyoto Station by the 206 bus (with IC card or cash). I would stay again and will share with friends!

The room was quite big and I loved having a balcony. It was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed having a kitchen with a fridge, microwave and stove. And even a washing machine.

The location is good. Near the shopping center and stations. There’s also a 7/11 nearby. The shared bathroom is always clean and has available amenities for use. There’s also food stalls and restaurants which are all walking distance. I also live that they have a massager in the common room which I used especially after a long walk.

Hachi Inn was very clean, with friendly staff who were helpful to answer any questions but also friendly with us. They engaged in conversation which was really cool. The room had all the things you would expect or want, including a kickass shower, Wifi, tea, refrigerator, etc

This is a best place to stay in Kyoto! Owners are extremely nice, polite and their homemade cooking and baking is heavenly! Do yourself a favor and book breakfast with them. We spent 4 night at this place and I couldn’t be happier. Room are cozy and spacious for Japanese standards, position of the place is nearby subway station and near 7-eleven. Mattress of the bed was nice and firm, wifi, hot water reliable, and the whole place for spotless clean. I wish the owners only the best customers!

Very welcoming and helpful owner, cute neighborhood next to the river, traditional Kyoto inn with the option of taking a bath Japanese-style.

The landlord is utterly kind and nice. It's a true Japanese living experience, including the futon, and the typical Japanese bath. The position is great, right in front of the Toei park, and close to convenience stores and the transportation.
