In the closest London Borough to Heathrow Airport, Hounslow hotels and guesthouses on Booking.com are understandably a popular choice for those flying in and out of the UK’s busiest airport. However, there are more reasons to stay here than just this.
Hounslow Heath has a nature reserve and golf course, and to the north in the Osterley suburb is the National Trust-operated Osterley Park with its stately home and gardens. Southeast of here is Syon House, while Hanworth Park House is in the Feltham district, home to just some of the hotels near Heathrow Terminal 4. Also close by is the wildlife haven of Bedfont Lakes Country Park.
There are also 2 smaller parks in the Cranford district, near the Bath Road which passes the road leading to Heathrow Terminals 1-3. Most hotels near Heathrow on this road are served by an airport shuttle which has transfers to all 5 terminals. At the opposite end of the airport from Hounslow, Terminal 5 is the newest and most state of the art, and has its own station on the London Underground.
All Heathrow Airport stations are on the Piccadilly Line and have fast connections to the 3 Tube stations in Hounslow itself, and beyond to central London.

This area has many overseas tourists and travellers, living in Hounslow. Hounslow is ideal for London Heathrow airport and has easy access into London. Has easy access to motorways too. There are many Mosques nearby.

Honestly, I don't know Hounslow well, but I always use London Hounslow west station to transfer when I travel from Heathrow. You know, I prefer to travel with the bus, because I can to look around. There is a convenient Sainsbury local next to the Hounslow west station. Iceland store is on the opposite side. And you have to see the market place nearby. his is a weekend market place open only on weekends 7:00am-2:00pm. Other days it’s just a parking area. It's funny and you can get really good bagrain. I didn't see anything like this before - you have to visit it!

We were only in Hounslow the evening and night before our flight out of Heathrow. We walked several blocks to our hotel from the train station, through a section of town with some run down buildings and others under redevelopment. Pleasantly surprised to find the Market Place, a great location for ethnic foods from many countries in a food court setting. Only a couple stops to the airport from the train station.
This hotel was well located with a short walk from the tube station. In the other direction from the tube station is a good high street with shopping and lots of food choices. I felt very safe, even at night coming in from London. This is a basic hotel, but it was very clean and the staff were all very nice and helpful. The bathroom was great. The linens were exceptionally clean and pleasant. I will definitely stay here again. At times, it could be a bit loud, but that might just depend on where your room is located.
Booked this place for value and location - needed somewhere close to Heathrow night before an early flight. I usuallly book one of the chain hotels in Hounslow for the tube access but none available as it was new years eve. Single room with shared bath was perfectly accepatable, although the room was small it was comfy and pleasant, and the shower/toilet was close enough on same floor. Overall the hotel was clean, bright and nicely decorated - felt welcoming and the desk staff were welcoming.
Lovely one bed apartment, kitchen was self-contained, utility room had washing mc,very good heating facility. We travelled with toddler, so we used kitchen to cook home food. Hired a car and used parking in apartments parking lot, apartment is in prime location, walkable distance to city centre Hounslow, Lidl & aldi & other Indian supermarkets. Walkable to Hounslow Central and east station. Would highly recommend this property for staying.
Cheapest hotel that’s close to Heathrow - you can get the 119 or 111 from Heathrow Central and then cross the road to get to the hotel. you then walk along the other side of the road for a bit. It's not very well lit at night. I arrived Friday at 11pm and the lobby was quite full of people drunk from the bar so check in was a hassle. Not a great atmosphere. The room was clean with clean bed linen. The bathroom was clean.
Compared to Moxy hotels in Tokyo and New York this was greatly spacious as a room. Super clean and close to Heathrow as you can see the planes from your room. Also the parkings to T2&T3 are only a 3 minute drive from the hotel. Great experience overall and for the best price. You can also easily take the underground to central London as there’s a bus stop just outside the hotel to take you to the metro.
We were going to Twickenham for the Rugby match on Sunday the hotel is a perfect location. The hotel is very nice friendly and very clean. It is the best hotel we have stayed in when we visit London we will definitely be using it again. Breakfast was brilliant plenty of choice and cooked food is hot.
A great place to stay if landing at LHR, or visiting London as a tourist. A very short walk from Hounslow central tube station. Clean tidy and friendly staff, unfortunately no breakfast available, however this is a very minor point. Highly recommend if you want a convenient cheap place to stay.
The hotel was really nice! It was a quick solo stay. Nice shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel. Easy check-in and the staff was very nice and friendly! My room was clean and perfect for my quick trip to London. Nice breakfast options and great location.
good value of money.
very nice staff.
good location if Heathrow is the entry airport.
Well connected to the center of london ( Bus next to the hotel’ door and then direct underground to Piccadilly circus)
Overall we had a nice weekend in Windsor and London and staying overnight at the Ibis in Hounslow was part of this trip. Great price and location for us. Parking at a good price. You get what you pay for.
Great location 2 mins walk from Hounslow Central tube and 2 mins from Main Street with restaurants and shops. Staff very nice. Great value for money compared to airport hotel which was 2.5x as expensive.
The room was basic but clea and tidy which i was wary after reading reviews but pleasently surprised. It had good transport to central london via tube and Twickenham stadium vis bu h20 outside
Very convenient for driving to from outside London and then getting the metro/tube/underground into town. Cheap. Several (mainly Indian) restaurants close by
