This is a stupid question, I stayed at the airport, not in Horley town and I only stayed there because I had an early flight. I was not there as a tourist and I doubt anyone would be, as it is an airport town!

This was just a short 24hr transit of international flights, but the hotel location at the airport terminal and access to the train station (to London and elsewhere) could not have been more convenient

Convenient and very near the south terminal.
Convenient and very near the south terminal. Clean and efficient . Breakfast selection good but dining room far too hot ! Quick check-in and no standing on ceremony. Modern rooms - fairly new block of bedrooms.

We love to stop in Horley.
We love to stop in Horley. It has a fabulous pub and is very walkable. Usually we spend a little more time in horley but we were more limited in our time this trip as our flights had a shorter turn around time. Horley is a wonderful little spot to relax for a few days and the public transit is very easy to use especially for out of country travellers.

Unfortunately, my experience at the hotel took a negative turn when they unexpectedly canceled my reservation without providing any explanation. Upon further investigation, I discovered that there were indeed five rooms available, similar to the one I had originally booked. However, upon entering the room, I was disappointed to find it in a dirty state. I took photographs of the unacceptable conditions and presented them to the receptionist during check-out. Instead of addressing the issue, I was accused of dishonesty, with the receptionist denying the existence of such conditions.
Additionally, I encountered hygiene issues throughout the room, with hair scattered in various places. Furthermore, I was unable to use the blow dryer inside the bathroom due to an incompatibility with the energy outlet, which was inconvenient and frustrating.
Overall, these experiences significantly detracted from my stay at the hotel and left me feeling dissatisfied with the level of service and accommodation provided.

Always a useful location for an onward flight- this time to Milan - we popped into town via train from the airport and had a full set of nails done and if more organised a massage. Instead we made use of low prices at a weatherspoons and local cafe
My stay at the corner house hotel was great. I visited London for business and I wanted a hotel close to Gatwick Airport and this is the ideal place to stay in the area. The rooms seem to be recently refurbished, the bed was excellent and the bathroom/shower as well. The staff was really friendly and warm and they run the reception 24 hours a day. The breakfast choice was between continental and full English breakfast at 6 and 10 pounds respectively. It goes without saying that we will stay at the same place when we return to London.
I loved the Corner House Hotel! I arrived at Gatwick at 1 am and called for the hotel shuttle and he was there within 5 minutes. My room was just fine and comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. I only slept there for 5 hours but it was just what I needed. In the morning, I had a full English breakfast in the dining room and it was great. Everyone at the Corner House Hotel was super-friendly and really made me feel at home after my very long day of travel. Thank you to all of you!
I regularly stay at this hotel, when I travel via Gatwick, or even the other London airports, as it has good rail links to London and beyond. The staff are always very helpful and I don't think I have ever had a problem. The hotel is handy for the centre of Horley, which has several nice pubs and restaurants as well as all the usual retail outlets. The train station is a short walk from the hotel and Gatwick Airport can be reached either by train or bus.
The location couldn’t be more convenient unless staying at an airport hotel at two to three times the price. The local bus, which stops directly in front, leaves the airport several times an hour and only takes 5 minutes. The owners are always available and very accommodating. I have stayed there twice and will again when I layover at Gatwick. An easy walk to the train station and a quick trip to Victoria station.
The front desk staff was very helpful and professional, the room was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Location is about 5 to 10 minutes from Gatwick N. terminal by car/taxi. Had an early wake up call, the first was automated, then 5 mins later the front desk called to make sure we were awake, the other hotels in the area never checked on us before, I thought that it was nice from the front desk to this.
The price was excellent and good value (although I may have been lucky as on a subsequent visit to Gatwick the price was much higher). It is possible to walk from the airport (I was lucky to find the section of the Sussex Border Path that will get you from North Terminal to the Travelodge and from there you are on pavements). There are plenty of pubs and restaurants in Horley which is not too far away.
A very modern hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Easy access to Gatwick airport. If walking from the south terminal follow google maps and not the signs in the terminal building unless you like a tour of endless corridoors and carparks. It was good value you for money. Certainly beats staying awake in Caffe Nero all night.
Comfortable, clean, modern, exactly how a hotel should be. Loved the location and the discount at a nearby pub was an unexpected delight. Was so great having the app and being in charge of check in and out. On my way for my morning train, I got a decent coffee from their hot drinks room. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone using Gatwick.
Manned 24 house. Very clean. Really surpassed my expectations. Perfect for overnight stay if flying from Gatwick as it's only 5 minutes drive.
Continental breakfast had plenty of varieties.
The scents around the hotel was relaxing.
I had to make a couple of adjustments to my booking which was fulfilled with no questions asked.
Incredibly convenient for Gatwick airport/Crawley/Horley. Literally a 5 minute drive from the south terminal to the farmhouse. Room was well appointed and comfortable. Very simple check in and out process. Has a rural feel to it despite being so close to everything. Would definitely book again if the need arises.
Great hotel right in the Gatwick Airport. Came in on a late flight and it was so convenient. Unique concept, small clean comfortable rooms that met our needs. Food shop on 2nd floor of airport that was open late to grab some food. Reception staff were professional and helpful.
The host was very friendly and helpful. The room was a nice size, with a small sitting area. Walking distance to the train station. Minutes from Gatwick. A sweet little village-like vibe here. Definitely pick this location if you need a place near Gatwick airport!
Cozy, comfy, contemporary interior. Hot shower, comfy bed, mini fridge, large screen tv with Netflix and bottled water and cookies. Walkable distance to Gatwick. Lovely Horley downtown. Easy accessibility to trains.
I feel very comfortable and well look after when I stay a this hotel. The staff is very nice and the rooms are very comfortable. This hotel in my opinion is the best at Gatwick airport Terminal South
Sofitel is a very well located hotel to Gatwick north terminal. The reception area is quite impressive. The rooms are of a nice size and the beds are extremely comfortable.
I stayed for only one night as I needed a hotel near Gatwick. I had a single bedroom which provided everything I needed. I can easily recommend this place for short stays.
