Love the location at the top of Richmond Hill near an entrance to the park. There’s a small sunny outdoor terrace, which was a great spot for an afternoon drink. Breakfast was fantastic. Liked that I could open a window in the bedroom to keep it cool, too.

Didn’t get chance to see more than the park but it was worth the stay just for that. We were visiting for a sporting event nearby and we were perfectly situated. The surrounding area looked lovely, very green and clean. Walking in London and seeing wild deer is a must

We liked the restaurants and cafés.

We liked the restaurants and cafés. There are many interesting places to visit nearby. We enjoyed Syon Huse, Osterley House and the London Wetland Centre. It's an easy train journet to Waterloo Station for Central London. I wouldn't want to live under the Heathrow flight path.

We have visited Richmond many times before and twice passed through it on long distance walks. It is a town full of character and, for walkers, ideally situated between Richmond Park, with its herds of deer and flocks of squawking green parrots, and the famous Kew Gardens. We loved having breakfast at the Hollyhock cafe, situated in the town park above the river. Just a little upstream, lies the National Trust's property of Ham House. Always worth a visit.

The staff at reception were incredibly polite and helpful. The staff at the spa desk weren’t as approachable however this didn’t bother us or impact our stay. Our room was lovely!!!! Beds were so comfy and I absolutely loved the double sinks!! The bathroom was huge, I loved it! The heated towel rack is also a winner. the free sherry and gin is a lovely touch and so is the free bedside water. Breakfast served to on the room free of charge is something other hotels should definitely consider! This is something that guests appreciate.

The people that run the property are fabulous, some of the nicest people anywhere, also, this is a pub hotel, enjoy a beer or cider while checking in. We enjoyed a great breakfast every morning and it is included but we ate dinner there both nights that we stayed. The dinners were delicious and there was plenty of food. The location was also great, it is halfway between the train station and Richmond Hill Park. Listen to Pat for directions, he is very helpful. The room was large and everything worked.

The property was very comfortable. There was nothing I needed and it wasn’t available. The location was perfect for public transport. Literally opposite the tube and train station of Richmond. Two steps away from the river and the gorgeous greens. Very quite building and safe. The host was so quick to reply and accommodate instantly. I will have to be in London every two to three months and would book the same property again and always.

Location was good for walks along the river. Teddington centre was short stroll. Pubs and restaurants and shops nearby. Trip to london from teddington station was about half hour. Gardens and grounds were lovely and relaxing. So nice to be able to enjoy a drink outside in the evening overlooking the grounds and river. We enjoyed a BBQ evening in the summer. Great selections for breakfasts including Gluten free options. Friendly staff.

This is a newly renovated and opened hotel. The location is superb (4 minute walk to underground/trains or restaurants). The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The rooms were spacious, especially by England standards, and very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay just a 25 minute tube ride to all of the central London tourist spots, but way more affordable.

This hotel had an excellent location that was close to the underground and everything was in walking distance. The staff was incredibly kind, accommodating and fun. Even the layout of the room was comfortable and convenient. There was enough space to lay out everything that we needed without feeling constricted. If I ever come back to this area I’m definitely booking this hotel again.

The hotel is lovely. The location is great for walking into Richmond, along the river or to the railway station to get into central London. The staff are very helpful. The room was in the older part of the hotel and was gorgeous, it is probably one of the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in, very impressive

It's a friendly hotel in an amazing location. It's handy to have parking, and I've been lucky because it's always been available when I've stayed here. The bigger rooms are bright and have enough space for a small family.
