Kingston is a wonderful area in U K. It is very colorful and vibrant, with many amenities, with mixture of diferent cultures from all over the world giving the city its metropolitan touch. It is definitely a place where I would like to live myself.

We chose this because we wanted to visit Hampton Court Palace. After a superb evening meal at our hotel The White Hart we went for a wander over the bridge where we discovered a lively area of restaurants & bars with a great atmosphere. Also found out about a river boat trip that could take us to Hampton Court. We were able to book tickets online for the next day. And a 5 minute walk from the hotel is a train station that takes you to Waterloo.

The location was easy to fund. I stayed to attend a concert at twickenham stadium.. I was told by the owner that I could get a bus to twickenham from outside the hotel. The family who owned it were lovely. I would stay here again for sure

The bed and room were very comfortable. It was nice to have a sofa as well as the bed. The restaurant in the hotel was reasonable and they accommodating my daughter's food allergies. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. And very reasonably priced. We were visiting Hampton Court Palace and this was an excellent location. It is about a 25 minute walk or there is a bus which takes you there in much less time. Although we only stayed the one night they allowed us to store our luggage the following day.
The location is within easy walking of the train station which is a quick 37 minutes to London Waterloo Station and directly across from Hampton Court Palace. Many good restaurant options and shops including vintage stores near by. Hotel staff were friendly. The decor and common areas are lovely and comfortable and garden courtyard right outside our room was a nice bonus space for coffee in the morning! Soaps and lotions were divine! We look forward to visiting again!
Easy check in. Parking at rear. Comfortable and spacious. Massive comfy bed in the main bedroom. Sofa bed is a proper double and very comfortable. Great storage. 5 of us stayed first night and 3 for a second night and it was very comfortable even when at capacity. My daughter lives in Kingston Uni halls nearby, so the location was perfect for us. Easy to get into central London and Kingston but also a nice area with good pubs and places to eat within walking distance.
Fantastic hotel, really homely. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts were lovely with lots of choice and the food was lovely and fresh. The air conditioning was a god send during the heat wave this summer and the free parking was a real find for a hotel in London with the car right outside the room. Excellent location just outside the main town of Kingston. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The location was in the heart of Kingston upon Thames which was great as the shops were just a minute walk away. The room was a decent size and very clean. There was soap and detergent for the washing machine and the host was fantastic. Anything we needed would be arranged if it wasn't there already. The kicthen had everything needed to make meals.
To whomever may complain about this hotel, i think those people are difficult!
The Queen's head was a wonderful experience - very friendly staff, very comfortable bed, food was good and the breakfast was lovely. Wifi worked great, there is an interior court which is very nicely done and everything was clean!
10/10 and definitely recommended!
Lovely room and very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. The restaurant wasn't open, but able to enjoy a drink at the bar. They recommended me a good restaurant just 2 minutes walking from the hotel. Very close to Norbiton station and Kingston hospital. Coffee, a cereal bar, a croissant and cereals on the go given, as I had to leave early.
Breakfast was ok, see comments below. Location was good for us as we were travelling to Wimbledon for the tennis which only took about 15 minutes from the hotel. Room was very warm but there was an air conditioning unit we used.
Bathroom small but adequate with toiletries.
Although we were on the top floor, the lovely gentleman helped with our baggage. Being close to parks for afternoon walks, close to Kingston Upon Thames and Hampton Court Palace. Staff were ver helpful and our beds were super comfortable.
Most of all I loved the location. Close to the train station and in a nice little neighborhood along the Thames. I also liked the historical hotel. Our room was large by European standards and the amenities nice and appreciated.
I was later to the hotel than expected but they were very good and kept my room and checked with me via text that everything was ok. The hotel was well priced, clean and convenient for a quick stop off.
Location, train close as well as Kingston, and quick trip into central London, rooms nice size, and bfast great and practical, and take away coffee cups a winner, definitely worth revisit
