There was a great pub called 6 bells. The staff were lovely and Wayne the proprietor really looked after me as did all the staff. The food I had was excellent. The pub itself is unofficially the 2nd oldest pub in England. It was easy to walk to from The Corner House.

Very comfortable rooms, friendly efficient staff, good choice of restaurants in the evening with lovely food. Breakfast could improve as while everything is well laid out with plenty of choice the food is not being kept hot enough and is quite cold by the time you take it back to your table which is a shame as it’s good quality food. It was the same for both visits.

Travelers should be warned there there are steep steps to get to the room (unless you book the downstairs room). This was a huge surprise and problem for us as we had a lot of heavy baggage and it could not be left downstairs.

Horley is a fairly safe town to spend the night before/after...

Horley is a fairly safe town to spend the night before/after a flight. It has nice food shops & cafes. Near to Gatwick but not noisy. Quiet, pleasant. A bus ride to Crawley, an easy train to London. Not overpriced. Best place is the 8 Bells (or is it 6 Bells?!) down a residential road just off the main road & by the parish church - lovely! - its a delightful oldy-worldy country gastro pub on the doorstep, which is well-known for great food & atmosphere. People usually find Horley pleasant... you can safely walk around & there is a Lidl & Waitrose within walking distance (in the centre)... The local Wetherspoons does a good cheap breakfast. (Later, the fish & chips/burger are ok, so ok for cheap filling food. Be warned, though, the manager could do with some improvement!) Horley is great for overnight stays, before moving on!

This is a stupid question, I stayed at the airport, not in Horley town and I only stayed there because I had an early flight. I was not there as a tourist and I doubt anyone would be, as it is an airport town!

We had a very early flight from Gatwick so decided to stay at the 'Courtyard by Marriot over night. From the moment we arrived we couldn't have asked for better service from the staff. When going to our room we were surprised firstly by its size and then its up to the minute decor . Facilities were great and being so close to the airport terminal we were impressed by the lack of noise. Overall cleanliness couldn't be faulted. All in all we couldn't fault the hotel and it made our trip so much easier. Thank you and well done.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here on the way to Gatwick and it’s like staying with family. Ahmed is the nicest man, he’s so accommodating and friendly, and he has always had a smile. He’s dropped us off at the airport both times, once at 3 in the morning, and he’s just as lovely pre-dawn. The breakfast was great, the room is everything you need, and it’s easy to get to from Horley station, as well as being close to local restaurants. We’re looking forward to our next stay!

Front of house team were excellent. The only thing I would suggest would be more clear info that the hotel is in the terminal .we drove into Gatwick and could not see it even though it was signposted. We drove through once and it cost £6 to drive around the drop off point. We were not sure if we had been charged and the lady on reception kindly gave us some great advise. This is the only point I would make Congratulations on a fantastic product!

The front desk staff was very helpful and professional, the room was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Location is about 5 to 10 minutes from Gatwick N. terminal by car/taxi. Had an early wake up call, the first was automated, then 5 mins later the front desk called to make sure we were awake, the other hotels in the area never checked on us before, I thought that it was nice from the front desk to this.

The bus from Gatwick's south terminal takes around 15-20 min to reach the hotel and then you'll need to walk for 5'. There is a fuel station close enough to the hotel (5 min walk), where you can take a snack. It also takes around 20 min to reach the center of Horley and have a beer and something to eat. I'd recommend taking a pizza from Papa John's.

Excellent small hotel near Gatwick airport, located close to Horley town centre just a few minutes walk away, bus stops to and from the airport just outside the hotel and the train station is a 10 minute level walk. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room very clean and having stayed her numerous times I will continue to use it.

Very convenient for North Terminal. This is better than the rest of the Gatwick hotels, possibly the best of them. Rooms are large, comfortable and fine. Prepaid, so no check-out. Public areas are spacious and clean.

The shuttle transport to/from Gatwick is quick, cheap and inexpensive. The hotel is nice though it is near busy streets, so it's noisy even at 3am. Its location near Gatwick is super, however.
