The Sussex market town of Crawley is just south of Gatwick Airport, London’s 2nd busiest passenger terminal after Heathrow.
Its train station has direct connections to Gatwick, as well as to Victoria Station in London to the north, and Brighton to the south. Set roughly midway between the 2 cities, the town has long been an important stopping place. One of its 17th-century coaching inns, the George Hotel, still exists under the name of the Ramada Crawley Gatwick and is available on Booking.com.
However, the town’s history dates back much further than that. Records show it as being a market town as early as the 13th century, and its central Goffs Park has a museum containing some Stone Age remains found here.
Tilgate Park to the south has a lake, nature reserve and one of Crawley’s 3 golf courses. The town’s other leisure activities include bowling, a movie theater and a collection of restaurants and pubs. The shopping street is a mix of historic buildings and modern shops, and more stores are found at Crawley County Mall.
Practically all of the Crawley hotels, guesthouses and country houses provide parking and a few also have features such as swimming pools and gyms.

Historic town with character, real ale houses and many local shops, good rail and bus transport links and detailed town maps, great little daily market next to large shopping centre at train and bus stations recommend Dixies chicken it was delish and a rival for KFC. The snooty Fox at three bridges station has great ales and friendly bar staff.

Everything was just perfect a classic authentic looking pub style hotel with very cozy fire place in the dining room and very comfy and cozy rooms. A pity there is no meal service as this place screams for a Sunday roast and the classics on a menu as a steak with 3 choice sauces, a pizza, a burger, a crab cake with greens, a classic fish and chips with mushy peas and tartar and two salads.
That would make it the place to be with everything it needs (this is my personal opinion also taking in mind I am a private chef)

The rooms were clean as were the public areas. Staff were friendly and polite. However, whilst the food was good it was of a low standard and offered at an outrageous cost....b/fast was a plentiful buffet but £16 was steep.

Trivelles Gatwick Hotel was disgusting The 200 meter driveway was flooded which disguised the massive pot holes all the way down the drive the underside of my car scraped at least twice. The pictures of the palce must have been taken when first renovated which must have been somme time ago as it is very tired now. the bed linen was stained, it looked like someone has blown their nose on it, and I saw at least 3 cockroaches on the desk.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff, easy check in, very clean rooms and super comfortable beds. The only issue was this hotel is not super close to the airport and there are no shuttles or buses that go to the hotel from the airport. The only option is to book a taxi, which you should definitely arrange with the hotel before your stay, as it is very expensive from Gatwick (17.50 pounds as opposed to 30 pounds).
Nothing really as bed was comfortable shower adequate Gino the owner helpful and friendly and makes a brilliant breakfast made me feel at home.
Family in Crawley and travel regularly so will rebook more often when in the area to depart to visit the next day.
Can catch the number 2 bus from Ifield shops into Crawley Town centre and then many buses there takes you to Gatwick. Accommodation 12 minutes walk from Ifield shops.
Look on Google maps and that will help you find your way from Ifield shops if walking or arriving via bus or driving.
I really enjoyed to stay at this hotel 🏩👍🏻👍🏻The staff was really nice, the place was quiet clean and nice, big mirrors, 😍 the breakfast was good, the price we paid was really good. Close to our destination etc. 😊
I really like the shower as well, good pressure and spacious. The only problem it was I couldn't attach it on the wall so I have to keep it in my hands but wasn't a big deal 🤔😁
At the moment is one of the best place we was staying until now 😊
We sure will come back if will need to go around 😊
Very large and spacious home, comfortable beds, squeaky bathrooms, clean & tidy house overall. We were really pleased that we had the barbecue and necessary utensils, including coals and lighters. The ping pong table was the main attraction of the house. The kids enjoyed running around in the large garden. Close to the Three Bridges Train Station and town centre. Was perfect for us. We will definitely use it again if we'll need accommodation in Crawley.
You would need a car, tucked away location, about six miles to Gatwick Airport. only one pub close by, in the middle of a housing estate and Crawley town centre is a taxi ride away, BUT other than what I have said, very good value for money, rooms were clean and tidy and can't understand why some people have given a bad review, clean and tidy.
Fabulous bedroom, with sofa, microwave, fridge, widescreen TV, and bath & shower, plus Aircon, very quiet and spotlessly clean. The staff were great, the receptionist Anastasija helped us with a non hotel related problem which was greatly appreciated. Easy walking distance to Three Bridges railway station for trains or buses to town centre.
We booked the room last minute (after another hotel didn’t work out) we arrived at 2am for a checkout at 11am the same day. The desk agent struggled to figure out how to handle it because his system had closed out for the prior day. I give him credit for figuring something out and honoring the price we confirmed on booking.com
The room was very clean and comfortable. Despite being at the front of the hotel (the side nearest the airport) we were not disturbed at all by traffic noise or aircraft. We had a good night's sleep ready for the journey ahead. Our check in time did not give us the opportunity to take advantage of the inclusive breakfast
Eventually, by swapping rooms, the 80+ year-old couple were in a ground floor twin-bed room, without a dangerous stairway to climb, and without a very narrow "double bed" to squeeze into. Also, the hotel is nicely situated, with nice grounds.
Great place! Amazing breakfast!!! Warren is wonderful receptionist, he helps us a lot and explain everything around even about hotel history. He loves and respect his job.
Very comfortable room and bed. Calm and quiet place. Will come back.
Lovely, little, quiet country hotel within easy access to Gatwick Airport and a short cab ride to the shops and bars in Crawley town centre. Hotel was super clean, beds very comfortable, polite, helpful staff and a great breakfast buffet.
The hotel is situated just 10 min walk from Crawley town centre and it is perfect also to reach the Gatwick airport. The room and bed were very comfortable and the breakfast was good. The staff also respected the anti-covid-19 rules.
Beautiful room and setting, you wouldn't believe this was close to Crawley and London Gatwick. If you want to avoid bog standard airport hotels and go for something classy, then this is just the ticket.
Very hotel room. Good food in restaurant and bar. easy check-in and out. Convenient to Gatwick airport but you need to drive. Magement staff is very caring and friendly. Would stay there again.
Get what you pay for, was a good place to get a nights sleep. Room was clean and as per the pictures. Shower was powerful and hot. For the price you pay, the hotel is good value for money.
